Between these incredible turmeric recipes, you’ll never be without a cozy, immune boosting drink again! Not only will you be hydrating yourself, you’ll also be giving your body the nutrients it needs to overcome the cold and flu.

When you learn all of the amazing benefits of turmeric, you’ll be whipping up these drinks in no time, for yourself and your entire family.

The reason all the above ingredients are milk based is because turmeric actually increases milk’s natural antioxidant properties. Milk also helps your bones stay strong, while also providing protection against free radicals. But remember what I said before! You can always add turmeric to your favorite teas, like green tea, or peppermint tea if you’re lactose intolerant, or milk just isn’t your thing.

An extra tip about turmeric absorption is that it is fat-soluble, so the above recipes are excellent after a meal which contains omega 3 or omega 6 fatty acids like avocado, nuts, seeds and salmon.

In addition, be careful that you do not exceed the daily-recommended dose of turmeric, which is generally around 1.5-2 grams daily. If you plan on serving these drink recipes to your children then make sure you keep the turmeric content around 1 teaspoon!
