There is no better way to celebrate pumpkin season than with a healthy variation of pumpkin spice cookies.
When shopping for ingredients, be sure to avoid baking powder that contains aluminum. While the amount is minimal, aluminum has been linked neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s Disease.
Keeping my recipes free of toxic ingredients is vital in developing the diet that will help your health the most. And thankfully, this tasty treat passes the test.

Some variations on this recipe involve replace coconut oil with other types of shortening according to each baker’s preference. I like using coconut oil as much as I can in my recipes because it it contains remarkable cancer-fighting properties.
Besides being a wonderful addition to the recipe’s texture and taste, walnuts are amongst the best nuts to eat to improve your health. Did you know that they can improve the health of your cardiovascular system the moment you eat them?
Your heart will be grateful for the alpha linoleic oils walnuts bring to the table. They’re known to help prevent heart arrhythmias and help your arteries reduce oxidation and inflammation. Basically, they’re in that perfect recipe for a healthy heart.
I replaced salt with Himalayan salt to help bring out the recipe’s full nutritional potential. Integrating it into your diet will help reduce the likelihood of having kidney stones by aiding your intestinal walls when it comes to absorbing nutrients efficiently.
Since it is easily absorbed into your bloodstream, Himalayan salt can aid in improving your circulatory system and contains properties known to help regulate blood pressure.
By switching common ingredients with their holistic alternatives, you can gradually improve your diet to help you live a healthy life.
In my own experience, adapting a holistic diet was one of the necessary steps I needed to begin the long path to a healthier body. What do you eat to stay healthy and put a smile on your face at the same time?
