Many of us are fans of dipping our fries in ketchup or putting some BBQ sauce on our burgers to enhance their flavor. Unfortunately, most of these condiments are typically made with a slew of unhealthy ingredients and thus adding them to our diets opens the door to a range of health concerns.
A lot of our favorite condiments, like ketchup, mustard, mayo and BBQ sauce are filled with sugar, sodium, trans fats and are often high in calories. Consuming too much sodium puts you at a greater risk for high blood pressure and stroke. Similarly, a diet high in sugar can damage your liver and lead to weight gain.
Solution: Paleo Condiments
These Paleo remakes of classic condiments add tons of flavor to your favorite Paleo dishes – without the health risks.

Enjoy some paleo ketchup and mustard with a hearty breakfast sausage. Pour some paleo BBQ sauce on your favorite grass-fed burger, or add a drop of mayo to your favorite Paleo wrap or sandwich.
Knowing how to create simple, healthier-for-you condiments are key to adding that extra oomph to many paleo meals.
