Bananas are one of the most popular, if not THE most popular, fruits in the United States. Not only are they naturally (and conveniently) packaged, but they also taste delicious and provide us with a multitude of health benefits.
Bananas are a rich source of potassium. Potassium is a mineral that is necessary for maintaining the balance of fluids inside our body and also keeps the brain, heart, muscles and nerves functioning. Bananas are also a rich source of fiber, magnesium, and essential vitamins such as vitamin C and B6.
Although bananas are a tasty and healthy fruit, they’re one downfall is that they tend to become overripe pretty quickly. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t still enjoy them.
Another one of the great characteristics of bananas is their versatility, which is why I am going to show you 3 amazing recipes that you can make using overripe bananas.
