For the non-coffee drinkers among us who feel left out of the Dalgona coffee trend, and for whom whipped strawberry milk is not an option, we humbly offer whipped Nutella. That’s right friends, the chocolatey delicious spread that you have zero scruples about eating straight from the jar by the spoonful, can now be whipped into a frothy cold drink to your daily delight.
All you need for this fantastic concoction is a spoonful of Nutella and one-third of a cup of heavy whipping cream. Whisk those ingredients together in a bowl until the mixture is fluffy. Add that fluffy, creamy deliciousness right on top of some ice cold milk and you’re in for a tasty treat you’ll crave hourly. If you want a stronger Nutella flavor, you can also put a dab of Nutella in the bottom of the glass and on the edges as well.
Whipped Nutella Variations
What happens if you happen to be a coffee drinker and a Nutella lover? Well, you’re in luck my friend because it’s the easiest thing in the world to combine these two options! Simply make the Dalgona coffee as you normally would (equal parts instant coffee, sugar, and hot water), and then just add a little Nutella when the coffee mixture begins to get creamy. Try adding a bit more Nutella to the bottom of the glass, and smile broadly as you dig into a fabulously caffeinated and also chocolatey delicacy. You’re a smart one.
All of these fun, creative whipped drinks are just asking for decorative touches to be added. For this whipped Nutella treat we recommend garnishing with a small chocolate bar.
