Use This Ancient Chinese Technique to Relieve Emotional and Physical Disorders

emotional freedom techniques

Despite the giant leaps in technology and accessibility, sometimes modern medicine is simply not the universal solution to everyone’s health issues.

Modern medicine sometimes requires a helping hand from natural alternatives to get the job done. My journey to recovery is a clear example of how these changes can help your medical treatment make a breakthrough.

The good news is that there are amazing success stories of people who were able to beat cancer, some, like Chris, were kind enough to share their tales.

If you’re ever diagnosed with a serious disease, my advice is to talk to your family doctor to explore which natural treatments work best for your unique health situation.

I personally recommend always exploring the possibility of changing your diet by incorporating healthier and natural ingredients as replacements to the heavily processed foods that plague the standard North American diet.

Additionally, you need to pair this dietary change by adopting a more active lifestyle. For example, yoga alone has been proven to be the best medicine for treating chronic back pain and some post-traumatic stress disorders.

Although I absolutely adore practicing yoga regularly, I’m always open to exploring different techniques and traditions that could have an amazing impact on my health.

This is where the ancient tradition of observing our body’s chi flows comes in, specifically when it is adapted to the modern practice of emotional freedom techniques.

But let’s get back to the beginning.

How Did It Start?

The tradition of Chi, the foundation of EFT, focuses on your body’s natural energy grid where chi flows in and out. This tradition believes that life’s traumas can hinder, block, or sabotage the flow of chi in your body.

This disruption in chi flow is believed to cause several complications to your wellbeing in the form of emotional illnesses and the disruption of your immune system’s efficiency.

How Does It Work?

Gary Craig, the man responsible for bringing the tradition of Chi into the modern era, believes that by placing pressure at specific nodes in your body you can restore your body’s natural chi flow to allow your body to function at peak conditions.

However, this new technique goes beyond simply recreating the effects of acupuncture. It also helps you cope with stress and increases your mental focus.

Research Results

A 2011 study showed that participants who regularly engaged in EFT therapy sessions reported a lower amount of food cravings. This was vital for the health of these participants because many of them were obese. The best result was that these lessened cravings and improved willpowers persisted during the six-month trial period.

Finally, a 2012 study made by Brooks, Church, DeAsis, and thirty psychology students showed that people suffering from depression and who paired therapy with EFT showed improved results at treating their depression.

How To Start

I recommend getting in touch with your local EFT certified practitioner to help get you started.

It’s also highly recommended that you stay hydrated prior to the exercises because it improves the overall results.

The best time to do these exercises is right before bedtime.

You can find the basic exercises in my source links below.
