“The ingredients in Lysol Spray carries significant health risks, more so than other disinfectant products of it’s kind. It contains denatured ethanol, which can affect the eyes, mucous membranes, and can affect the central nervous system if inhaled or ingested.
Lysol Disinfectant Spray also contains ammonium hydroxide, which is thought to be a respiratory toxin, and is linked to serious health conditions such as bronchitis, pulmonary edema, emphysema, and cancer. (1)”
So what can you do? Simple, make your own.
I read somewhere that there is a hospital in Europe that uses this spray instead of Lysol because it works better. Rosemary contains volatile oils which are antimicrobial, with antibacterial and anti-fungal properties and which enhance the function of the immune system. Sure wish I could bring this stuff to the hospital with me and spray it in my patients rooms! This is great to use for cleaning up after the kiddos!
